Gorkha Spice - Indian & Nepalese Cuisine

Absolutely delicious lamb vindaloo and chicken sekuwa. So much flavour! The coconut rice was the best I've had and the garlic naan was also done really well. The staff and service was top notch. Thanks a lot for the awesome meal!

Excellent experience!!!! Worth a try. Gorkha Aloo was a bit spicy for us, but that’s because of our low spice tolerance. Food was very flavourful and yummy!! Do try this restaurant, worth it!

This was our first time eating here - and it won't be our last! They serve Indian and Nepalese dishes that are varied and delightful. The flavours are delicate but bold. Portions are generous. Prices are very reasonable. Service is prompt and attentive without being intrusive. We were not familiar with many items on the menu (particularly the Nepalese items) and were guided to choose a great selection. Highly recommended. Support them!

Very tasty food. We had the Lamb vindaloo, and it was wonderful. The coconut rice and the garlic naan were awesome as well. Chicken sekuwa was spicy and very flavorful. Service was attentive and the chef was friendly. A great dinner out with the family.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Gorka Spice is hands down my favourite restaurant in Okotoks. I’ve been ordering from them for a long time now, and the food has been consistently amazing every single time. It truly is the best Indian food around. Their butter chicken and biryani are to die for — rich, flavourful, and always perfectly cooked. The portion sizes are great, everything tastes fresh, and you can tell they put real care into their dishes. The owners and staff are absolutely wonderful to deal with. They’re warm, welcoming, and they create such a beautiful, friendly vibe in the restaurant. It’s one of those places that just makes you feel good every time you order or walk in. If you haven’t experienced their food or visited the restaurant yet, it’s an absolute must. You have to check them out and support them — we need to keep incredible local restaurants like this in town and thriving. I absolutely love this place and will keep supporting them forever. Highly recommend!

The food here is amazing! I’ve never had a dish I didn’t like. They always make the amount of spice exactly what I ask for. Good amount of food, in fact we are always so full when we leave! The Garlic Nann bread is the best. Decent prices. Very friendly staff. Always quiet, which is nice for conversation with my dinner guests. Great for a date, dinner with friends, or a large family get together. Highly recommend this hidden gem in the middle of Okotoks!

Found this place about 6 months ago, and its been my go to for indian food since. Lamb biryani, chicken tikka masala, goat vindaloo, and beef curry are all excellent. Naan bread is cooked perfectly. Definitely try it, you wont regret it.

We have been frequenting Ghorkha Spice since they opened and it’s one of our favourite restaurants. The food is absolutely amazing and well priced. Even sides, like the coconut rice, are the best we’ve ever had. As vegetarians, there is a wide range of menu items for us to choose from. Service is always friendly and attentive. We can’t recommend Ghokha Spice enough!
